ShoreTel offers an IP phone to suit
every type of user: from executive to remote office
worker; operator to call center supervisor. ShoreTel phones are designed to ease administrator workload. Once a phone is plugged into the network, ShoreTel Director automatically discovers it and adds it to the system, where it can be centrally managed as nodes on the enterprise network. As new software releases or versions become available, all IP phones can be automatically updated via network downloads, further reducing administration costs. All ShoreTel phones interoperate with ShoreTel Call Manager, so settings, call handling rules, presence information, automatic directory updates and other features can be managed according to users’ preferences. For instance, users can extend the power of their phone far beyond their desks with ShoreTel Office Anywhere, which allows them to assign their extension to any phone, including a mobile phone or home phone supervisor. |

ShoreTel Voice Switches are key building blocks of the ShoreTel Unified Communications (UC) system and deliver UC to organizations of every size —from large enterprises to small and medium businesses. Highly reliable and intelligent, these switches unify communications across multiple enterprise locations, supporting IP phones, analog devices, and a variety of trunk interfaces. ShoreTel Voice Switches manage ShoreTel IP Phones and analog lines, as well as PSTN and ITSP trunks. The ShoreTel Voice Switch 220T1A is a 1U half-width voice switch that supports up to 220 IP phones, or up to 70 IP phones, two loop start trunks, four analog extension ports and a T1 simultaneously. The ShoreTel Voice Switch 220T1A supports ShoreTel IP phones, softphones, and SIP devices. The ShoreTel VPN Concentrator securely connects remote IP phones to the rest of the system, enabling IT staff to implement a very secure and flexible remote work policy. Remote users simply connect a ShoreTel IP phone to a broadband router, and with minimal configuration establish a secure tunnel to the ShoreTel VPN Concentrator. Once connected, their phone acts as thought it was located in the office. |
