Compellent disk drive enclosures offer extensive flexibility and scalability so organizations can easily adapt to changing business needs. Users can mix and match SSD, Fibre Channel (FC), SAS and SATA drives in the same system, including SAS drives with multiple capacities and rotational speeds in the same enclosures. Any blend of drives can be housed in the same system at any location – with configurations changed at any time – using SBOD (switched) FC, EBOB SAS and/or JBOD SATA enclosures. Redundant and hot-swappable power supplies and disks with support for multiple RAID levels help ensure data protection. |

a complete view of all aspects of your Compellent
storage environment, significantly reducing storage administration time. Using Enterprise Manager makes monitoring multiple Storage Centers easy, even with a single administrator. Enterprise Manager simplifies capacity planning, increasing your storage purchase efficiency. Using Enterprise Manager, you can view storage capacity utilization on all of your Storage Center systems over a period of time, including summaries from last week, last month, or last year. Enterprise Manager also provides important I/O details to help optimize performance. The ability to accurately assess storage resources and plan for future capacity and performance needs reduces overall disk spending. |
